Terms of use

Last updated 17 October 2026

These terms explain how HUBBUB works, what you pay, and the promises we make to you. The most important one: you own everything you make in HUBBUB.

1. Who we are

HUBBUB is owned and operated by Emma Clarke Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 03473668), whose address is Beehive Loft, Beehive Mill, Jersey Street, Manchester, M4 6JG. You can contact us at hello@hubbub-music.com. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean HUBBUB, and "you" means the person using it.

2. Your account

3. Free trial, plans and payment

4. Discount codes

From time to time we may give people a discount code, for example to thank those who helped test HUBBUB. You enter the code on the payment page. Each code's discount, which plan it applies to, how long it lasts and when it expires are stated when we give it to you. Once a discount ends, the normal price applies.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Account > Plan and billing, in a few clicks, with no need to contact us. If you cancel during the free trial, you won't be charged. If you cancel later, you keep full access until the end of the period you've paid for. See Cancellation and refunds for your refund rights.

6. When a plan ends

If your plan ends or a payment can't be taken, your account becomes read-only. Your scores are not deleted. You can still sign in, open and view every score, export PDFs, parts and videos, and download your .hubbub files. To create or edit scores again, restart your plan.

7. You own your scores

8. Using HUBBUB fairly

Please don't use HUBBUB to break the law, to upload images or material you don't have the right to use, or to try to disrupt or break into the service or other people's accounts. We may suspend an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.

9. Keeping HUBBUB running

We work hard to keep HUBBUB available and your work safe, but no online service can promise to be available all the time. We recommend downloading .hubbub copies of scores that matter to you. We may improve or change features over time. If we ever plan to close HUBBUB, we'll give you at least 60 days' notice so you can download your work.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to meet these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your legal rights as a consumer.

11. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account > Your data. This permanently deletes your scores from our systems, so download anything you want to keep first.

12. Changes to these terms

If we make an important change to these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.

13. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims in your local courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first at hello@hubbub-music.com and we'll do our best to put it right.
